I was born on a farm west of Sandstone. My mother-in-law had a little note book, and whenever she heard of a marriage, birth, or death she wrote the information in the book. I became interested in keeping track of family members through this note book and started my own family tree back in 1955. I’m still researching and have been a member of the Pine County Genealogical Society since 1997 when it first started. My family tree surnames are: Tobeck, Basche, Wendroth, Christoffer, Gustafson, Nelson, Damsgaard, Svendsen.  

Tobecks, Basches, Wendroths, Christoffers were from Germany. Gustafsons, Nelsons were from Sweden. Damsgaard and Svendsens from Denmark.
