The Pine County Genealogical Society has purchased the
following magazines
and books to the three Pine County Libraries for genealogy
research purposes:
The "Family Tree" magazine in the Pine City Library
The "Family Tree" magazine in the Sandstone Library
The "Family Chronicle" magazine in the Hinckley Library
The following list of books was donated

We have donated money toward microfilms of the Hinckley Newspapers for the Hinckley
Library.
We have donated money to the Sandstone Library to
help
purchase a reader/printer for microfilms
We have purchased microfilm of the State Census for 1884,
1895, 1905 for the Pine City Library.
Purchased
two books (Roots for Kids and Dig Up Your Roots
& Find Your Branches) to the Sandstone
Library in memory of
our Treasurer,
Carol Davis.
Donated $250.00
to the Sandstone & Pine City Library to
help defray cost of their budget cut back in 2004.
(Hinckley Library
did not
need help at the time).
Donated money
to the Sandstone library to help pay for a
file cabinet for the micro films
Purchased 2
books each to both Sandstone & Pine City
library in memory of Ron Troolin (one of our
members).
